The School of Business and Economics of the Friedrich-Alexander University (FAU) is the first Bavarian business school to offer a dual undergraduate program between a university and an industrial enterprise. During seven semesters, the students spend their time as trainees at Siemens AG and as participants in the Business and Economics study program offered by the FAU. After successful completion, the students obtain the degree of Industrial Manager awarded by the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) and the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Business and Economics awarded by the FAU.
What singles out this study program is that our students receive the opportunity to do a traineeship at the Siemens AG headquarters and further sites, in parallel with a double degree study program: Industrial Manager (IHK) and B.A. in Business and Economics (FAU).
Three learning centers:
Theoretical classes centered around the activities of Siemens AG: Siemens Professional Education Erlangen (SPE)
University courses in business administration, economics and commercial law at the Nuremberg based School of Business and Economics of the FAU
Practical training at Siemens locations, mainly across the north of Bavaria
Applicants are required to have a higher education entrance qualification (e.g., Abitur, Matura)
