Greetings from Venice! From January 21st to 26th, the 11th cohort of the Siemens FAU EMBA, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Kai-Ingo Voigt, is gathering in Venice for their first international module: Marketing with Prof. Dr. Tiziano Vescovi from Università Ca’ Foscari Venezia.

In the heart of this timeless city, Prof. Vescovi is guiding the group through an engaging exploration of various marketing topics, including foundational principles, industrial marketing, pricing strategies, branding, and more. Two company visits, including a field trip to Mestre and the renowned Murano Glass, provide invaluable real-world insights, enriching the students’ understanding of this dynamic field.

The journey began on January 21st with a warm welcome dinner, where the students enjoyed their first taste of traditional Italian cuisine. With a brilliant marketing lecture as well as an inspiring visit to Venices famous La Fenize opera house, the week was not only an academic enrichment but also an unforgettable cultural experience.
