In the winter semester 2024/2025, WiSo set a new record with 719 newly enrolled participants in a total of seven part-time executive education programs. It is particularly noteworthy that some degree programs recorded an increase in participant numbers in the higher double-digit range. This growth underlines the attractiveness and relevance of WiSo’s executive education programs, which are clearly geared towards the needs of the labour market.

Despite the generally difficult conditions and declining demand on the German executive education market, WiSo is bucking the trend with this success. The number of participants increased by a total of 17% compared to the previous year, further consolidating FAU’s position as the university with the highest number of participants in Bavaria in the field of part-time executive education.

‘This success is largely thanks to the dedicated teaching staff, most of whom come from the FAU,’ emphasises the Dean of Executive Education, Prof. Dr. Kai-Ingo Voigt. ‘Their expertise and commitment have played a decisive role in making this success possible. And we are delighted that more and more employees from companies in the Metropolitan Region are opting for an executive education program at FAU.’

WiSo would like to thank everyone involved and looks forward to supporting its students with high-quality executive education programs in the future and preparing them for the changing challenges of the labour market.
