The transformative power of artificial intelligence (AI) for businesses was discussed intensively at the 78th Business Administration Day of the Schmalenbach Society. The focus was mainly on how AI can increase productivity and innovative strength. Prof. Dr. Kai-Ingo Voigt and Prof. Dr. Julian Müller attended this very interesting conference, meeting many colleagues from industry and academia.

Prof. Dr. Stefan Asenkerschbaumer, President of the Schmalenbach Society and highly valued member of our Chair, opened the conference in highlighting the challenges of AI implementation, and advised using it to support business models without becoming utterly dependent on it.

Jochen Hanebeck, CEO of Infineon, sees great potential for AI in the technology sector to make processes more efficient.

Jonas Andrulis, founder of Aleph Alpha, emphasized the importance of AI in the language sector and called for greater integration into business processes.

The discussion made clear that AI is a great opportunity for businesses, but a responsible approach is crucial!
