Sofia, it’s great to be back! Teaching “Technology and Innovation Management” at Sofia University.
From June 3rd to June 7th, Prof. Kai-Ingo Voigt, Michael Mertel, and Lars Friedrich returned to St. Kliment Ohridski University to deliver a one-week teaching on Technology and Innovation Management. Both theoretical and practical aspects of recent challenges in new product development, technologies, and innovation were covered. In particular, we discussed a broad range of innovation topics with a focus on business models of successful international and Bulgarian companies. In an additional full-day workshop, the students further reflected on the unique characteristics of digital business models and how to establish a strong digital core in traditional firms. We loved the enthusiasm, excitement and energy of our Bulgarian business students!
Prof. Voigt and the entire Chair of Industrial Management are grateful for the warm hospitality and cultural exchange provided by St. Kliment Ohridski University. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone involved for making this visit a success. It was a unique experience, and we are already looking forward to our next visit.
