Prof. Oliver Zipse receives the Erich-Gutenberg-Award in Cologne

On Friday, Dec 1st, Prof. Oliver Zipse, CEO of BMW AG and highly valued lecturer at our Chair, was awarded with the renowned Erich-Gutenberg-Price for actively combining Business Theory and Practice. The award honors managers who contribute to the improvement of a company in executing their management concept on the sound fundament of Erich Gutenberg‘s „Theory of the Firm“. The president of the Erich-Gutenberg-Arbeitsgemeinschaft Köln e.V. (EGA), Prof. Dr. Sven Laudien, presented the award in a festive ceremony at the Hotel Excelsior in Cologne. As former president of the “Erich-Gutenberg-Arbeitsgemeinschaft“ from 2014-2018, Prof. Voigt is particularly pleased about the new award winner and congratulated Prof. Zipse personally.
