On June 28th, FAU Alumni & Freunde WiSo Nürnberg (AFWN) hosted a thought-provoking event centered around the booming industry of electromobility. On invitation of Rainer Ostermayer, head of awfn, Prof. Dr. Kai-Ingo Voigt had the pleasure of moderating this evening on the topic: “Boom of Electromobility – Perspectives on the Market of Loading Infrastructure.”

Prof. Voigt was delighted to welcome two professionals from Siemens for a captivating presentation. Dr. Moritz Ingerfeld, former PhD student and member of our Chair, is now head of Portfolio and Partner Management at Siemens Emerging Transportation Platform. Dr. Ingerfeld was accompanied by Alexander Kraus, Sales Professional in eCar Charging at Siemens eMobility. After a highly interesting presentation on the current state of the electromobility market Prof. Voigt engaged in a lively discussion with the two professionals – the guests in the lecture hall as well as the listeners who joined online.

The differing perspectives on this highly relevant topic provided attendees with valuable insights and a glimpse into the future. Following the enriching dialogue, attendees had the opportunity to network and exchange ideas while enjoying a selection of refreshments, including pretzels and drinks in a friendly get together sponsored by afwn.
