Congratulations to Honorary Professor Dr. Robert Mayr, CEO of DATEV eG
On July 21, Dr. Robert Mayr, CEO of DATEV eG, was appointed Honorary Professor by FAU President Prof. Dr. Joachim Hornegger. The festive handover of the appointment took place in the historical and splendid President’s office in Erlangen Castle, the headquarters of FAU.
Prof. Dr. Robert Mayr is a permanent and highly-welcomed lecturer at the Chair of Industrial Management since 2015. Together with Prof. Voigt, he organizes and supervises the seminar “Strategic Innovation Management”. Within the scope of this course, the students, gathered in working groups, develop innovative solutions for current strategic issues and challenges of digital companies.
Due to the long-lasting and excellent cooperation of our chair with Prof. Dr. Mayr and DATEV eG, we are especially happy and pleased about the Honorary Professorship and we congratulate him warmly to this outstanding achievement!
