Second Week of the International Summer School 2019 at UIBE in Beijing Successfully Finished!
From 8th to 11th of July, Prof. Voigt and his colleague Lukas Maier joined the second week of UIBE’s International Summer School 2019 in Beijing to continue their lecture on “Innovation Management”.
In Prof. Voigt’s lecture, more than 50 business students passionately participated in the lecture. The students presented different group assignments on innovation management topics, such as Business Model Innovation and Technology Management. In their presentations the students presented Chinese firms like BiliBili (a video sharing platform themed around animation, comics, and games – the Chinese version of YouTube) or Li-Ning (a Chinese company that produces sporting goods and uses the slogan “anything is possible” – the Chinese version of adidas).
After two exciting weeks of insights in Innovation Management, all students successfully participated in the final exam. Besides the hard work in Beijing, there was also some time to discover Beijing’s fascinating art district “798” – finding some innovative new electric cars like the Arcfox Lite, a Chinese electric car developed by Daimler’s and BAIC’s Joint Venture.
