From October 9 to 13, the Chair of Industrial Management carried out the Businessplanseminar for master students. Under the guidance of Prof. Voigt, Daniel Kiel, and Martin Meinel, four highly motivated student teams developed their business plans for an innovative surf park, a service agency that offers pop-up stores in containers for fashion companies, a high-tech farm for fresh herbs, and an agency that organizes weddings in Germany for Japanese couples.

The jury that consisted of Dr. Sebastian Engel (Tech-Incubator Zollhof Nürnberg), Sören Hirschsteiner, and Patrick Hümmer (both Sparkasse Nürnberg) were strongly convinced by the final pitch presentations and appreciated the teams’ impressive performance throughout the whole week. We thank our practice partners Ferdinand Pillenstein (Suppdiwupp), Jan Jessberger (Cheesy Wooden Accessories), and Dr. Axel Adrian (notary) for their sparkling speeches and for providing insight into entrepreneurial practice. Moreover, we would like to give special thanks to Zollhof, and, in particular, Dr. Sebastian Engel, for providing the perfect location for our students to pitch their business concepts.
