Valuable insights into business model innovation by Dr. Eva Mitterreiter & Dr. Uwe Kirschner – Robert Bosch GmbH
The Chair of Industrial Management had the pleasure to welcome Dr. Eva Mitterreiter (Method-Development and Training at Bosch) and Dr. Uwe Kirschner, Vice President Business Model Innovation at Bosch, for a guest lecture on the topic “Business Model Innovation @ Bosch”. In 2016, Dr. Eva Mitterreiter finished her PhD in cooperation with Bosch and the Chair of Prof. Dr. Kai-Ingo Voigt on “Organizational Implementation of Business Model Innovation”. The presentation gave interesting insights on the execution of business model innovation, the lean startup approach and other innovation management tools inside a multinational firm. Several best practices of the implementation of new business models underlined the practical relevance of this highly relevant field of research and teaching. Prof. Voigt and his team highly appreciate the interesting insights from Robert Bosch GmbH.
