Interesting insights from the seminar with Prof. Dr. Heinrich v. Pierer
On June 21th 2017, this semester’s final presentations of the seminar with former Siemens CEO Prof. Dr. Heinrich v. Pierer of the Chair of Industrial Management took place.
The students examined different Corporate Venture Initiatives of companies, such as Siemens, Allianz, Bertelsmann and MIG. In order to be able to complement the external perspective of the students with an internal view on the topic, the students got the opportunity to interview the CEO of Allianz X, the CEO of Next47, the CEO of MIG, the Chief Learning Officer of Bertelsmann, and even the Co-Founder of ICQ. At this point, we want to address sincere thanks to Prof. Dr. Heinrich v. Pierer, who made this unique opportunity possible.
In total, 15 students successfully participated in the seminar and delivered a seminar paper as well as a 20-minute presentation. We are very excited about the profound insights and findings of the student teams and look forward to the next seminar, which will be open for application starting end of next week.
