Innovative business concepts convinced the jury
From April 18 to April 21, the Chair of Industrial Management carried out the Businessplanseminar for highly motivated bachelor students. Under the guidance of Prof. Voigt, Daniel Kiel, and Martin Meinel, four student teams developed their first own business plans for a dealer of second-hand music instruments, a food truck for dog treats, a “Running Brotzeit” restaurant, and an innovative culinary school concept.
The jury, consisting of Dr. Sebastian Engel (Tech-Incubator Zollhof Nürnberg), Patrick Hümmer (Sparkasse Nürnberg), and Dr. Lothar Czaja (Chair of Industrial Management) were strongly convinced by the final pitch presentations and appreciated the teams’ impressive performance throughout the short week. Moreover, the chair gives sincere thanks to our practice partners Ferdinand Pillenstein (Suppdiwupp) and Wolfgang Pöhlau (Babyviduals) for their sparkling speeches and providing insight into entrepreneurial practice.
